Where to Get Ballroom Dancing Lessons?

The days where ballroom dancing was meant just for the wealthy are gone. On television shows, dance shows are into ballroom dancing as well as dance sports. You will even find children trying to break into the sport. This is also a great way to enjoy the reception during wedding dances and other social events. What is good about it, there are different types of ballroom dancing that you can learn.
If you are just starting out on ballroom dancing, then its recommended that you try the slower dances first. The Waltz for example, is a popular and very common dance, very easy to learn. After you get the basics of ballroom dancing down, then you can move on and try out the harder and faster dances. There are basically two dances that everyone should learn in ballroom dancing.
Waltz ? if you have learned the closed dance hold, then you will be using that when you dance the waltz. This dance is much easier to learn because of how much slower it is than the other ballroom dances. The waltz could be considered the building block for the other dances, so you can now move on to learning the others.
Tango ? the tango is a good ballroom dance that is great for being romantic and passionate. The tango is probably one of they most popular dances in the movies, you?ll be able to spot it when you see the male biting down on a rose and seducing a woman. Although this type of ballroom dancing originally came from South America, it has now become a more American Style tango with heavy European influences.
A great program that I recommend for people wanting to learn about ballroom dancing is Learn and Master Ballroom Dance by Jaimee Simon and Mark Short. Imagine being able to learn how to dance in the comfort of your own home from the 13 lesson DVD?s. Another dance program that may be of interest is Ballet Bible by Anita Leembruggen. So there I was surfing the web looking for real reviews of Ballroom Dance and Ballet Bible and I came up with product comparisons at ReviewMOZ.org.
