Anti-immigration campaign to run during GOP presidential debate ...

What?s ironic is that of the 10 people in the commercial that appear distressed over the idea of losing jobs, at least half look like they are not Caucasian. ?By having lots of nationalities in there, we?re trying to take ethnicity off the table,? claims Roy Beck, the founder of NumbersUSA. ?We chose our name because we knew that too many people on both sides of the issue got sidetracked on who immigrants are.?

Beck added that he hopes the ad will encourage the candidates to redirect their focus more on employment that they have done in the past. Although immigration is already a hot topic of debate, authorities have dealt primarily with the issue of illegal immigration. Candidates have shied away from addressing any type of connection between legal immigration and the unemployment rate.
